Fit For Life, our small group training program, is not just a catchy title. It’s literal.
Most people don’t need, or want, to train like bodybuilders. They definitely don’t need to train like Olympic lifters or powerlifters.
However, they do need to train for what their life entails, like walking their dog or pushing their granddaughter on a swing, and maybe a few surprises along the way..
Finally, nobody needs to spend hundreds of dollars on private sessions. Small group training offers the best of both worlds: Affordability and dedicated coaching.

Small group training is personal, but it’s for everyone.
That isn’t to say it’s easy. You will work hard. We just won’t push you to the point of burnout and such intense soreness you miss workouts or have a hard time performing your duties at work.
We’ll craft a plan – in terms of intensity, frequency, and specific movements — that get you to your goal. Whether your goals are performance based, aesthetics based, or some combination of the two, we’ll tailor the program to get you there.
For example, some of our clients want to lose fat and gain muscle, others want to gain mobility for sports. Additionally, many others are preparing for career opportunities like the police academy.
Most people’s goals aren’t that specific — they just want to look better or feel better or “be active.” That’s okay too. We’ll help you get started and maybe you develop goals along the way or you’re fine just doing the small group training program as it was written originally.
There’s room in Fit For Life for all walks of life, all ages and abilities and goals.

The Workout
Warm up & Mobility
Our small group training sessions always begin with a dynamic warmup and mobility section. We will go through a cycle of full body mobility movements and stretches to prefer for the workout ahead.
Strength
Building and maintaining muscle mass is arguably the most important thing we can do for our bodies to age well. Our small group training addresses all movement patterns, major (and minor) muscle groups, and major levers. We do full body strength sessions that hit push, pull, core, quads, glutes, and a revolving specialty focus like grip strength or balance
Power & Plyometrics
We lose power much faster than we lose strength. Balance and agility also plays a major factor in maintaining our independence and quality of life as we age, therefore, Fit For Life dedicates its second section on building power and plyometric capabilities.
Cardio
We know cardio is not fun. We also know it is incredibly important and much easier when it takes 5-8 minutes in a temperature controlled room instead of in the wet heat or freezing cold of Philadelphia! That is why we finish each session with an intense, but brief cardio session!
